The main component of UPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) film is ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), which is a linear polyethylene material with a very high average molecular weight (usually 3.5 million to 7.5 million amu or higher). This high molecular weight property gives UPE film excellent wear resistance, impact resistance, low friction coefficient, non-stickiness, and good chemical resistance and weather resistance.

Application of White UHMWPE Plastic film

White UPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) film, due to its excellent abrasion, impact, and chemical resistance, and self-lubricating properties, is widely used in industrial applications requiring friction and wear reduction.

It is primarily used in the adhesive tape industry. Specific applications include: wear-resistant protective materials in industries such as coal mining and shipbuilding; anti-corrosion linings in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries; and insulating and anti-friction materials in transportation and electronic equipment, such as foot pads and foot patches.

Black UHMW_PE Film is highly wear-resistant, the preferred material in the industrial field, has strong UV resistance and good self-lubrication
White UHMW_PE Film has higher wear resistance, but slightly lower than black UPE film, requires additional UV stabilizer to resist UV rays, good self-lubrication, high cleanliness.
