The PLA films we produce can be used with automatic or manual machines with high quality standards for the fruit and vegetable market. It is a material that is converted from sugar found in corn, beetroot, sugar cane and other naturally renewable materials, rather than materials derived from petroleum (unlike traditional plastics). This bioplastic is biodegradable and compostable, so it degrades rapidly in the soil once the necessary temperature and humidity conditions are reached.
